Overdrive Solenoid replacement stick with dealer or will Groton do? 200

Indy has advised that the '92 240 in my family fleet will not upshift to overdrive due to a bad solenoid. He advises that he has had bad experiences with this part from aftermarket sources and I go to a dealer for the replacement p/n 1239928.

Dealer sell price will be around $176 , Groton carries one for $57 with a 1 year warranty. Any one have experience with Groton aftermarnket O/D solenoids?
