Has anyone ever encountered a 900 series with factory installed manual tranny?
If so, what tranny model is it? Doubtful the M46 or M47 II. An M50 or M90?
The 700/900 FAQ only lists the M46 and M47 II. Yes, I searched the bb.
Just wondering. I may have asked this question before.
I came across a 1991 940 normally aspirated (non-turbo, thankfully) in Texas on ebay some years ago. It was the dark metallic grey like on my dark metallic grey of my 240. (Well, actually, if the silver is light, it is the middle grey color, though rarely did you see the nearly black dark grey after the late 1980s or so).
If not, the 940 was made up until 1998, so maybe time to research and import one from a catalytic converter friendly European country or so.
Just dreaming. I like the 900 series but I doughnut like the auto trannies in anything.
