OK, this is a long shot, but what the heck...
It would be really great if I could find someone friendly enough and knowledgeable enough (and has the time) to spend a few hours with me and my car to educate me about the car. 1991 240 sedan M47 B230F
It is running fine, now that I have replaced the O2 sensor (had a loose crimp connector), cleaned the TB, replaced the intake mainfold gasket, oil separator, some hoses, flametrap, etc, all with help from people here on the BB. I have never worked on cars before and really know next to nothing about how to work on them.
In the future I will want to have work done on the suspension. I don't feel confident about the suspension as it is but I don't know enough to evaluate it. I'd like to find someone who will drive the car and discuss with me some options and teach me about the suspension and its parts. Of course, it would be even better if that person had access to a lift so we could raise the car and actually point to things and tell me the names and show me how it works...
I am unemployed and have no time constraints, so I could do this on any weekday or weekend day. I'm hoping to find someone within an hour or two drive from here in central PA.
I don't expect either of us to get our hands dirty actually fixing anything- that would be too much to ask. I just want friendly advice and education.
Not sure how I could make it worth your while- hopefully it will be a fun afternoon for both of us...
Any takers?
Thanks,
Keith Ostertag
