Hay on line guys,I really need an opinion.
I just purchased a '82 242dl for parts. The seller was a "spacy" (yes, a judgement) young woman (medicinal only grass I am sure). She said it didn't run. She said it ran out of "fluid" in the transmission but it is a 5 speed. Trailered home. Just went out and put a battery in it and it started right up, and engine sounds good. Sounds like a bad throw out bearing. Shifts easly into all forward gears. Can't get it into reverse.
I got it for doors and fenders I need. Only $450 in it.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
