B230 front camshaft seal leaking 200

1990 745 B230 non-turbo. Oil is leaking from front camshaft seal; intermediate and crank seals do not appear to be leaking. Timing belt/tensioner/seals/water pump were replaced by PO 20K miles ago, so my question is, can I replace just the cam seal without going thru the entire timing belt process? I did t-belt and seals on a 945, so I know how to replace a front seal.
