High Idle in 89 244 200 1989

I'm trying to track down a high idle in my 1989 244DL and I can't find anything obvious. The car idles around 1700 RPM, even when I've let it run for a while and it's warmed up. Might this be caused by a temp sensor or something else electronic, or should I only be hunting for vacuum leaks? Maybe something else? For what it's worth, I didn't see any issues with vacuum leaks under the hood.
