I noticed the male part of this connection (the part directly connected to the intake manifold) exposed a while back, and the other day while looking over the engine compartment I happened to see a free rubber hose that looked like it fit -- so naturally I had to correct what I did not exactly know for sure. So far the car hasn't exploded. Was I right about these two?

P.S. repacked R wheel bearing and rewired temp gauge sender wire. tons of work left on the bucket, but feelin' good
