Pulling The Carpet 200

I've decided to take the suggestion of a few of the members and, since I'm in the process of laundering and recovering my seats, pulling and washing the carpet, as well. OK, so I'll need to pull the seats (done), the center console, the seatbelt anchors, and loosen up the lower dash where it meets the floor. However, when it comes to the plastic trim at the door sills, I'm admittedly stumped. How is this trim removed? I'm assuming some sort of clip mechanism, but I don't want to start pulling in the wrong direction and break them. A little wisdom, please?
