Head Gasket Coolant Hole Question 900 1993

OK, my ongoing head gasket job being worked in between everything else. So far it has went well. Finally received my Elring gasket set from one of the usual suppliers.

The Elring head gasket has 2 coolant holes on the exhaust side of piston #1 to line up with the block; however, the holes are in the gasket are round, not elongated like on the block. Looks like original gasket may have had round holes also, is this normal? Thanks as always for the great help.
