Hello all, I just bought a 1991 240 Wagon. It had a miss at idle but the body was so nice I bought it anyway. It idles very roughly so I checked the fuel pressure and it is dead on spec. While I was fiddling around I noticed an "Exhaust Leak Type Noise' It sounds exactly like the noise you have when there is a hole in the muffler. Anyway I finally found out where it was coming from... The Airbox where he air filter is. I have owned several 240's and have been through the idle issue before. Never seen or heard anything like this!! I thought maybe the idle air control valve was causing it so I removed it and cleaned it and there was no change. I no longer have the money to just start replacing things to figure out the problem. I could really use some help if anyone has any ideas what may be causing the noise and if it has anything to do with the idle issue.. Thanks so much
