oil pressure switch tough to remove 200 1992

Hi folks, I had the oil pressure switch go bad on the 92, and just got the replacement from FCP. Ok, got a 24 mm socket but man that thing is tight! The engine is stone cold, should i warm it up and see if that works? I am afraid of breaking the thing off, so any advice beyond PB Blaster would be appreciated!
