Rear Brake "pipe' line replacement 200

On my new 83' 245, a simple brake job turned into a rehab- replacing both calipers, One brass nut is in poor shape, and I cannot release the copper line from the caliper, so unless I have a new revelation today, I will replace that line too: the non caliper end of the pipe looks frightening, some sort of rusted steel nut? Looking for some insight regarding what I'll find when I try to remove the pipe.
