Hi, the sender unit in my 544 is about has much use as an ashtray on a Harley. I've fitted a new unit but this does not seem to alter the fact that once it gets past half a tank then it's all guess work. I would like to keep a couple of gallon when the gauge is on less that a quarter. Can I alter this by bending the arms on the sender unit.
