condensor fan 200 1991

tried to find out why my electric condensor fan is not working this morning. After taking the grill off, found the harness and connector tried to pry it apart and found green corrosion, turned on the ignition and tested and found no power. Looked at the wiring diagram and looks like the red wire connects directly to the battery, maybe a broken wire in the harness? should I create a new harness? would like the fan to run all the time, live near Tampa, summers coming! any ideas?
