I am putting the Volvo back together to be a daily driver, the other day, I went to get gas and take it around the block a few times and the door opening mechanism broke. I pulled it off and looked at it, The spring and spring holder have broken off. The inside door handle arm inside of the mechanism has worn down to a nice slope instead of a 90 degree turn up so that stopped working as well. All of this was on the drivers door, but I am sure that he passenger side door is starting to go as well.

Second thing I am looking for is the hood trim, the one that encompasses the very front of the hood.

I looked around for new mechanisms and hood trim, but have found that new parts are far out of my budget, therefore I am asking if anyone has these parts that are still in working order on any parts cars or in a box somewhere. Let me know thanks.
