Hello,
I am installing a heater valve in a 65 544, b-18. There is a small (1/8") tube (capillary?) coming out of the valve. Can anyone tell me where this tube should be installed? Reading in the archives, it seems this tube is coiled up "inside the vent tubing", but I'm not sure which one.

Also, there was no metal cover over the heater valve (interior) when I got the car. Should there be an interior metal cover on the late model 544 heater valves?
