M40 stuck in gear 120-130

How can I get M40 (still in 122) out of gear, without operational clutch?

Non running engine.

Just yanking shift lever front = back= sideways doesn't do it.

I can drop drive line at rear end to roll car, but how do you get tranny into neutral without removing it. Remove top?

Can clutch lever be activated manually from below while helper shifts gearbox?
