My 1980 - 245 windshield was easy to replace but the chrome trim/gasket broke during removal and was difficult to find a new one - although it is just cosmetic.

Can I replace with a later model - say 1993 with the rubber gasket as an integral unit? - will it fit ?

And can any local large glass shop locate it and do the job - just thinking ahead to avoid the chrome/gasket issue.
