R12 to R134a conversion parts 200 1992

'92 245 currently has R12 and needs attention. Thought it might be time to look into R134a. Heard about kits. Called dealer. Parts guy tells me Volvo would require all ac parts to be replaced for conversion to around $400 for parts alone. Suggested a kit from NAPA for about $70. So, I call Tasca. Parts guy tells me there is a backorder for the kit (p/n 9145666 and $184.06) which he says is the code that means you aren't going to see it, discontinued.

Yesterday, I found two 200's (both '91's) in a PnP that had the conversion. Now I'm thinking that this is the surest way to R134a. So, what a/c parts should I take off the PnP donor?

For the fun of Volvos,
Mike
