Hello Brickboarders! I am Richard Breed, and have been amazed at this site for a few years...what a labor of Love and Cooperation! I am now, Honored to be a member.
(A digression: I'm having some log-in issues, is there a help place for that kind of thing? Are there "admins"? I changed my password...and it...Hmm, let's leave it at "is there a place for help on this?", if it still persists - it's only day one!)
Ok, I am having some issues with my 'partner', Volvesco....
(Her nickname is Volvesco...Volvesque is so formal...and believe me:
she is casual! When I turn her on, which is pretty easy for a dame her age, she responds beautifully - then just turns off? Bckgnd: I had to replace the fuel filter, as she was dying on the road after some driving, and have done that; a clue is when I shut her off before the fuel filter, the turbo needle would go back up vertical?! Usually, it just went down as she went down...now just before I did the fuel filter, I decided to clean the battery terminals...and since then, this shut-off symptom's been everpresent: Yes, I'm checking all of the vacume hoses as per a post I just read...and in closing, let me be clear:
I am genious at many things, music, financial planning and advices, cooking, and I'm exceptional at TV/Video stuff (Produced, well created and produced the largest news feed in the world "The Independent White House Television Pool"...and will absolutly return the favors of advices from any of you, but know this:
When I get a tool in my hands, call an Ambulance! If I touch anything related to automobiles...they will stop running! laughing, basically I'm saying that I an inept at car stuff....so I really, really appreciate your help, and this site!
