Hello fellow brick boarders,
I have a '59 122S with a little problem. It is dripping gas from the bowl of the inboard carburetor (the one closest to the battery).
A little background... Carbs were rebuilt 2 years ago and it has not run much since this summer. Fuel pump was rebuilt a year ago and fuel lines were replaced or deeply cleaned because there was SOO much sediment in the fuel pump. I cleaned and sealed the gas tank and there is no more sediment in the fuel pump, but I suspect there could be sediment in the carburetors from the brief time the car ran with rebuilt carbs before the fuel pump/tank repairs.
The car runs a B16B engine.
Everything I know about that car I have figured out... I am NOT a mechanic but am working at being my Volvo's mechanic... Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Sarah
