Hi folks, After finishing my work on my camshaft and reinstalling the timing belt I have ran into a problem I had overlooked when removing the timing belt that I feel I need to question now with you wonderful people. My Harmonic Balancer had no TDC marking, when i initally removed my timing belt I rolled my engine over numerous times attempting to find some "mark" that would tell me it was at TDC, but there was just a set of lines across the HB that would never line up with TDC for my Intermediate and my Camshaft. So i shrugged it off until now.... where I am trying to torque down my HB but can not lock down my special tool into the points in the HB.... back to my question..... what have i done? what should I do about this? can I just get it on and start it up and see if it runs? would really love some more experienced mind to help me get my sweet baby back :) links to anything pertaining would be great
