My 1985 240 Turbo Wagon was hit 200 1985

Little bit of a sad subject...some clown driveing a Lexus turned right in front of me and hit my 1985 240 turbo wagon. Uhh, I love this car and I want to fix it. The insurance company totaled it, I have bought the salvage back and trying to decide what to do. The car is nearing 300k but was in really good shape for it's age with the exception of peeling clearcoat on the roof and hood. I had already gone through the suspension, and was planning to paint it in the next year, now I'm wondering if I should make the collision repair and continue on with my plan or find another 1983-1985 turbo wagon and start over again.

The damage was the left front wheel was pushed back via a bent A arm, mangled lf fender, bumper and coresupport thtat holds the bumper trim on. I got the car home on tuesday and changed the a-arm to see where it would put me. It seems that the bottom of the wheel is sticking out further then normal at this point though. Looking under the hood it abears that the radiheater was pushed in 1/4 in closer on the drivers side, probably due to a bent core support.

Here is the delima. I'm sure that car can be fixed. However if I take the car and repaint it like I was originally going to do, and say somone backs into it in a year, do I basically have a car that is not insurable due to a salvage title? I don't was to spend Good money on a paint job etc etc on a car that can't be insured. Any way around this? Appraisal etc? Thanks for any information. Nick.
