Tire wear rates: Front vs rear 200 1990

Dull question of the week.

On the 240s which tires will normally wear faster? Front or rear? Assuming normal alignment and normal driving.

I normally rotate my tires and as a result never had to think about this. However, on the '90 I just bought the front tires are very slightly more worn than the rears (which look new). So I'm trying to figure out whether to rotate or not.
