Unable to steer right (240) 200 1990

In attempt to make a VERY tight left turn, I heard a loud clunk and it was suddenly extremely difficult to turn in any direction (as if no power steering) that only lasted about 20 seconds and was back to normal. After about 5 minutes of driving I noticed I was having the some problem but only turning to the right. This problem comes and goes. Not sure if it's the steering rack as this was replaced in Oct 2011. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it may be? (power steering fluid is full) any help at all would be great!!!!
