Dash Backlights Relay Location? 900 1996

I have a 1996 960. My dash backlights have been intermittent for about a year and I think it is probably the relay (since sometimes they're on, sometimes they're off). I can't tell for sure where this particular relay is located on my car. Is it next to the passenger's left knee or in the engine compartment or elsewhere?
