I have a 122 and plan to swap in a modern drive train. I am looking for a durable rear end that would withstand moderate torque. I am looking for something with a tall ratio... thinking somewhere around 3:00, so I could get maximum highway mileage. Any ideas for donor cars that would be available in US salvage yards? My first thought was S10 or Ranger, but I'm thinking they might be a little too wide. Thanks
