OK, after recent valve job, 6 - 8 months back all was well. Still struggling with a hard cold start issue (takes 2 starts to get it going, but is fine rest of day) that showed up a month or 2 back, when today after parking, I smell gas.

Looking under hood and car, I see no obvious leak, after getting home, I let it run while looking under hood and see some fumes. I remove the oil cap and it literally lifts off the valve cover. During valve job I made sure the black plastic "can" that mounts to the block was clear, all was well. Trap was clear, I replaced some brittle vac line.

Will check vacuum at trap, but could I be missing something else? Engine runs fine other than cold start issue.
