Hey all, I have lurked a little bit in the past on here, reading what I can and trying to learn bits and pieces by osmosis. Since I had a problem crop up, I figured it was time to say hi and get some input. I've got an 1989 240, and I recently moved down to georgia from new york. My engine light came on recently, and upon checking the obd codes, it was throwing up 113 and 221, both related to fuel mixture and whatnot. I have also noticed a dip in power, rougher idle sound, and a decrease in gas mileage (from 18 mpg town/23 highway to just about 15 all the time).
Coincidentally (I hope), I had a similar problem last winter, but that turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. I don't know if any of this is enough info to go on, but does it sound like I should replace the O2 sensor, or is there anything I can test to find out more? I'm pretty ignorant, but trying to learn!
I have other family members on here as well (brother has a 1991 240, so we pretty much match), and they recommended I ask for help. Also, if anyone knows of a reliable place to get work done in the Athens, GA area, that would be great (I don't have any tools down here, nor family to fall back on for help if things go horribly wrong ;)
Thanks
