ok most problems except AC are now fixed on my 87 240DL but ever since I have owned this vehicle I have heard a strange rattle noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, only at low speed and noise sounds like perhaps a seat belt counter weight inside the rear seat body panel area, I can see foam surrounding the trunk lid struts perhaps an attempt by previous owner?
