Idle Issues 200

I have had problems with my B21ft missing at idle. This has been going on for quit some time so today I decided to ground the Blue White wire to deactivate the CSI system set the idle at 550 RPM's and then I fooled around with adjusting the fuel mixture. I did it the old way by listening to the engine and watching the tach. I found that I could get the engine to idle without any miss. I disconnected everything and my idle is at 850+ - rpm's and the dwell is at 27 to 29 degree's.
I don't ever think the engine ever ran so good but Im wondering why this makes it run so good.I have check and change so many things in the past to solve the missing at idle so I'm confused why this worked. Just thought I would throw this out there to get any comment.
