how often to replace main fuel filter? 200 1993

hello everyone-
I was searching around some to find answer to that question as I was curious. Never changed my '93 240's main fuel filter but I recently had new IPD in-tank fuel pump installed (w/ new filter sock.) Car's running really well with no sputtering or anything but I was just curious how long main fuel filters can go. Is there suggested replacement mileage number to keep in mind? Thanks in advance.
