Hey,
It fails to engage. Sounds kind of like this but faster then you can say it: Ka-ching-screetch-bzzziing, with the bzzing as in the starter goes up to 1000's of rpm. It got worse with lower temperatures and it does it only after it has been sitting over night, never after you've been driving it that day. Didn't use to have this problem until my alternator quit on me and the car stopped, which could be a coinsident. But I was hoping it would be a power to or broken starter thing and not the fly wheel.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
John Mpls
