what size Torx bit for tailgate hinge? 200 1992

I am trying to replace my tailgate wiring harnesses. It seems like the Torx bit securing the hinge to the tailgate is in between a T30 and a T40. I've been looking all over and can't find anything between T30 and T40.

Could a hex or triple-square driver be used as an alternative?
