Water pump flange broke off 200 1989

Anyone ever have the flange on the w/pump come off?

Luckily there doesn't seem to be any damage to the radiatior and I wasn't far from home when it happened. Never seen anything like it.

It's a Volvo pump from FCP bought a year ago. I wonder if I can get some satisfaction on that

Hasn't been a good week on the cars. Had to replace the radiator in one of the 940's, too
