Happy Holidays! I wanted to pass an issue I am having to you experts and see what steps I should take next. I recently replaced my fuel pump relay as the PO had bypassed it with a hokie switch and wire job.I removed the switch and wanted to do this the right way. Upon trying to fire the car up today after finishing an impulse sender/Hall switch swap, I still get nothing. I have a beautiful spark, but no fuel it seems. I tried jumping fuse 4 and 6 in the fuse box and got the buzz of the fuel pump. I checked the inline fuse under the good and it was still in great condition, as I put in an IPD weatherproof kit a couple weeks back. When I tried to jump terminal 30 and terminal 87/1 per the Haynes manual, I got nothing. However, upon further investigation I found that my fuel pump relay was labeled wrong with the terminal 87/2 being where terminal 30 should be (I had a brain fart and trusted the part to find my terminals instead of trusting the Haynes manual, essentially testing the wrong terminals). After the jumped terminals 87/1 and 30 at the connector, the fuel pump buzzed like the manual said it should. My issue is this if the fuel pump buzzes when jumped from two different locations is it in fact the fuel pump relay? I also understand that the fuel pump relay should close when the key goes to the start position, which it did not do. Do I have a dud of a relay or is there some other issue I am overlooking? Please excuse my ignorance as I am not an experience Volvo owner. Thank you in advance for any insight you could provide!

SN#3: Relay made a couple weird(kind of a loud buzzing, but different from the fuel pump) noises a week ago and the inline fuse blew, prompting a swift change out of the fuse. However, the original fuel pump relay remains. I looked inside and can't see any issues with it.
