240 front suspension woes- lEFT FRONT SITTING HIGH 200 1990

Just replaced driver side only ball joint, and sway bar links both sides. Driver side is now about two inches higher. Tried bouncing on bumper, no effect.

Ball joint to control arm bolts snug and torqued. Tie rod end tight.

I did have to disconnect outer tie rod and sway link in order swing out the strut a bit to get to broken ball joint to strut tower bolts.

Those bolts still broken. Tried drilling and using bolt extractor two days in a row-getting nowhere. Attached balljoint with 2 new M8 30 1.25 hardened bolts.

I don't see and separation at plate, know that I need all 4 bolts for safety. I can't see to get them and local shops quoted between $160-400 to extract 2 bolts.

Don't understand what I could have done to cause the "over extension". Archives no help in this case. Any guidance appreciated.
