Hi All,

Got a leak when I took my car through an automatic car wash. Ouch... Called Safelite, they refused to install a newer windshield glass window along with gasket. I read FAQ. Thank you as always.
Question 1.
Is it hard to do by myself and a 93 windshield glass/gasket will fit my 87 without any modification?
Question 2
"When the installer installs the new windshield, ask them to clean off any adhesive that oozes from the bottom to prevent it from adhering the cowl seal to the windshield glass. If it does so adhere, you will crack the glass when removing the cowl screen." from the editor. Does this apply to my 240 as well?
Question 3
For now, should I seal it with duck tape or clear caulk? And place chalk under the carpet?
For those who follow my threads...
1. POR15 putty looks and feels fully cured. I will go back and poke with a dental pick tool this spring and recoat with POR15 again.
2. No more tranny leak for now. I wonder if I over filled it. I will remark my drain bucket.
3. Observing mysterious exhahust pipe leak and will perform a leaf blower test when the weather gets better.
4. Look forward to do strut replacement this spring.
Otherwise, my Swedish Baklava is running strong and it's unstoppable going down hill. :)
