I just removed the brake pads from my 1992 240 wagon (ABS). Right Rear outside pad completely worn out, down to metal, the rest have 80% left. One of the front pads is worn at a slant, radially, but not the opposing pad, which has normal wear. At the last rebuild I replaced all the calipers with rebuilt parts. I also was very careful to make sure all the pads moved freely in the caliper castings. These wear patterns suggest to me that the rebuilt calipers were defective. So my question is where do I buy the best quality rebuilt calipers? Volvo Parts tells me they no longer carry these parts.
