My 1990 740GL died shortly after starting when < 20 degrees F. It has a bad cold start valve, so normally will restart fine, not this time. Will turn-over and fire, but die immediately, would not get to idle. I replaced the wires, plugs, cap and rotor (1 fouled plug and burn mark on coil wire), removed and cleaned each fuel injector (though they all operated in test mode 3) ; no change. Tested good spark, and fuel at rail (do not have a gauge to test fuel pressure). Also found PCV hose loose on oil separator. Found cracks in outer insulation of impulse sensor, but tested at 170 ohms (in 50 degree garage). It only has 306,000 miles.....
