Rear end ratio & overdrive 120-130 1967

My '67 Amazon has a Hayes rear axle with a 4.1:1 ratio. I've read that the 122S's with overdrive were equipped with a 4.56:1 ratio. The next upgrade I'm considering is installation of a J-type overdrive. Will the 4.1:1 ratio be a problem?
Thanks for all the great information on this site, and BTW, I just installed a new exhaust from Simon's Sportsystem - SWEET!!! It hooked right up from the exhaust manifold back to the tailpipe using original hanger locations and is 2" to the exhaust tip. I noticed a bit of a power bump, but that could be wishful thinking.
