Coolant temp gauge running higher than normal 200 1986

Went ahead and did my 500K major service yesterday and finshed up today. New GMB waterpump, 180 Wahler thermostat, new hoses, new temp sensors replace while I had the intake manifold off and fresh Volvo blue coolant. When I stated it up and let it run for about 15 min to allow the coolant to come up to operating temp, I looked at the gauge and found it to be running on the hot side between 9 oclock and the bottom of the red. Normally, it ran just under the 9 position.
I have already replaced the temp bypass board years ago. I'm planning on driving it tomorrow to work and hopefully it will not cause any issues. The thermostat I used has the little vent which I turned so that it is pointing to the highest apex to allow any trapped air to be expelled. If anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way.

Thanks to all.
