headliner removal tips - leaking roof rack? 200

I've had success in the past popping off the headliner in the back to access the tailgate hinges, but I'm having trouble getting it to budge in the front. any tips?

I have a little rust bubbling around the roof rack mounts, I suspect water is entering there. Anyone have success removing the rack and installing the rubber grommets?
