This is to those of you who responded to the bucking issue with my '80 242DL a few weeks back. My local dealer mech found & solved the problem soon as he saw it. In the Lambda system the relay between the CPU & the frequency valve was the 33 yr. old culprit. It wasn't taking the signal from the sensor properly to send it to the frequency valve to give it the correct amt. of fuel. Rust & corrosion eventually takes its toll. Live & learn. Thanks to all for responding.
