Cold Transmission slipping 900 1996

The transmission on my 96-960 wagon feels like its slipping in OD when cold. Kind of jerky. I checked the fluid, levels look ok, a little brownish but not terrible, smells normal. Was Flushed a couple of years ago when I thought it was slipping but turned out to be cracked coils. Got good japanese coils now.
Thanks for any input before I take it to my wrench.
