HELP! Junk It or Sell for Parts? 900 1996

Hi guys,

I just got news that my son's 1996 960 sedan likely has a bad engine bearing and will need a new engine. I'm in PA, and he's in AZ. We just put new tires on it before he went out there last July, and I'm wondering if it should just go to a junkyard from the car shop or if it would be better to find a buyer to sell it for parts. The car is in Phoenix at a shop. A decision needs to be made within the next few days, and he needs to get another car. Any ideas? Does anyone have any Phoenix connections?
