Starter motor noise maybe? 700 1990

When I start my 1990 740 Turbo - manual transmission - as soon as it starts, in the 2 seconds after it starts I hear a ratchet kind of sound that lasts about 1 second. To me it is maybe the starter motor.

It is not a deep ratchet sound - more like small gears. Not coming from the motor but maybe the starter motor.

So far no trouble but what could it be?
