Running a little warm 200

My 85 245 Turbo intercooled has been running warmer than usual .. Short trips temp gauge stays normal right in the middle ..Longer trips it will be a higher but not hot... Then it will recover to the middle... Is this do to a lazy thermostat.. Fluids are all good water pump and radiator are newer...
