After reinstalling my windshield, I have a theory/belief that maybe butyl tape doesn't hold the windshield in place over the years, maybe even it drops down a bit which creates a gap on the lower part of the windshield...

I am asking this question because I want to put few semi permanent setting blocks to support the windshield. What do you guys think?

I am still new here. Maybe you guys have talked about this many times...
