'94 940t starts fine ...dies at stop or turn 900 1994

Long time no post. Hope that is OK.

The wife's '94 940 w370k. Radiator broke internally; tranny fluid in system; replaced radiator; cleaned cooling system; did a clean trans fluid change ...all good.

Now the car starts fine; idles good; but will stall and die randomly when stopping or slowing to make a turn ...like in a parking lot. It also will sputter occasionally when in a straight line.

Note: The heater hose at the back of motor rubbed a hole about the same time and was spewing water out all over the back firewall. It still had a good bit of tranny fluid in the cooling system at that time.

The CPS does need replacing ...cover is frayed a good bit. I am wondering if the spray had an effect here, as it ran fine prior to all this.

Thanks for any and all direction.

Still driving the old bricks. :)
